Myth column is like a own mind and it is so interesting, How many people know about a Myth.
I Like a Atlantis myth it so interesting. That their wars and civilization, what they really are and are they first nation. That is my mind. So I maintain little analysis about Myth of Atlantis. I wish that I find somethin answer this my little research about this Atlantis. And this Subject 1 is analysis what people know.
Somehow I want real adventure, searching this legendary of Atlantis city.

Atlantis ( Myth or true ? ) 3500-eaa year ago legendary of antique in Atlantis city, live people which rule world about 2000 year ekr. Unfortunately in beautiful Atlantis spoil theirs wars. It´s say that Atlantis and Atena-city between war be last and Atena-people of city has win that war. And from in the sky, a meteor hit in atlantis and sink that in deep sea.
Some reason was that god dont more endure of losers.
In now 1900-jaa forward to 2000-jaa is was alleged that, some one was find a Atlantis of rests remains, statues and pillars. But be for that, be heard was only silent. But even if this is only myth, but interesting.

Atlantis was first introduced to world literature by the Greek philosopher Plato in two "dialogues" he wrote in the fourth century B.C. His tale of a great empire that sank beneath the waves has sparked thousands of years of debate over whether Atlantis really existed. But did Plato mean his tale as history, or just as a parable to help illustrate his philosophy?
Atlantis is the name of a legendary island first mentioned in Plato's dialogues Timaeus and Critias.
In Plato's account, Atlantis, lying "beyond the pillars of Heracles", was a naval power that conquered many parts of Western Europe and Africa 9,000 years before the time of Solon, or approximately 9500 BC. After a failed attempt to invade Athens, Atlantis sank into the ocean "in a single day and night of misfortune".
As a story embedded in Plato's dialogues, Atlantis is generally seen as a myth created by Plato to illustrate his political theories. Although the function of the story of Atlantis seems clear to most scholars, they dispute whether and how much Plato's account was inspired by older traditions. Some scholars argue Plato drew upon memories of past events such as the Thera eruption or the Trojan War, while others insist that he took inspiration from contemporary events like the destruction of Helike in 373 BC or the failed Athenian invasion of Sicily in 415-413 BC.
Plato's description inspired the utopian works of several Renaissance writers, like Francis Bacon's "New Atlantis". Atlantis inspires today's literature, from science fiction to comic books and films, its name having become a byword for any and all supposed prehistoric but advanced (and lost) civilizations.
Atlantis is a legendary island in the Atlantic, west of Gibraltar, that sunk beneath the sea during a violent eruption of earthquakes and floods some 9,000 years before Plato wrote about it in his Timaeus and Critias. In a discussion of utopian societies, Plato claims that Egyptian priests told Solon about Atlantis. Plato was not describing a real place any more than his allegory of the cave describes a real cave. The purpose of Atlantis is to express a moral message in a discussion of ideal societies, a favorite theme of his. The fact that nobody in Greece for 9,000 years had mentioned a battle between Athens and Atlantis should serve as a clue that Plato was not talking about a real place or battle. Nevertheless, Plato is often cited as the primary source for the reality of a place on earth called Atlantis.
In case it was his intention, Plato made Atlantis a myth - and we can hardly imagine life today without it. With Atlantis, Plato unconsciously advanced our present inquiring mind, he set off scientific expeditions both over and underwater. In doing so, Plato contributed to the exploration and analysis of unknown terrain.
In the final analysis, people themselves can be claimed to have created the myth of Atlantis on the basis of Plato´s credibility. For example, had exactly the same myth been introduced to the world by the Roman emperor Nero, there would be no Atlantis today.
Where did the story originate and is any of it true?
So what will happen, if we discover true about Atlantis? I dont no... perhaps someone goverment hide a true because that change everything about our history? If that is true...("deep sigh")
